Back to work already ???

I took a short break & got back to work yesterday.  The picture below sums it all up ....lol... I need another break maybe ....lol...

Today is exceptionally quiet for Chinese New Year. Yesterday our house was full of visitors but it's kinda not as festive as it used to be when I was younger. There's no alcohol, a little early I guess. No gambling, some one suggested going to the casino, but we figured it would be crowded. What's with CNY & gambling? it seems to go together. What a bad habit right? I never like it anyway.

 After my relatives left, I went to visit a friend. Strangely her place was even "more-non-festive" than mine. No one is dressed- everyone is in shorts & t shirts. Not that it bothers me, but it's kinda odd right? I guess most of us don't feel the festive vibes anymore. Chinese New Year is certainly more fun when we were kids !

Yesterday was my 6th & last BTL Vanquish session with Dr Keith. My tummy has reduced significantly, in fact it has flattened, which was GREAT. I'm so happy. This Vanquish treatment is indeed effective.

 Yesterday was my first treatment. I went back to Dr Keith Ong. The treatment lasted for about 40 mins. During the treatment I felt the heat & no pain. Daydream for the next 40 mins or so ..lol. My friend said she almost  slept during her session! After that, instructions was given to drink lots of water. Which I have been doing. Since yesterday the skin beneath the area being treated feels a little bumpy. But It's not painful, & not visible.

I called the clinic & the nurses assure me, it's normal & was advice to massage it a little. I did & it felt better. Well I think it's the fats being broken down. I felt a little tired too. That's probably why they stressed on drinking more water. Externally there's no changes, no bruising. No down time.

Do you sabotage your diet all the time ?

So Good & Sinful ...LOL..

Just manage to sabotage my own diet today with laksa as breakfast.

I don't understand this dish. In fact most of our local hawker dishes are interchangeable . Things like laksa or nasi lemak can be eaten both for breakfast or lunch & dinner. There's no order- I'm confused all the time.

Now I have to skip dinner probably:(( But having said that, it was worth it...lol. It's so good & sinful! Sometimes we just need to pamper ourselves with stuff like this !

We were discussing what to get a friend for her birthday, which is in a few days time. It's tough right getting presents. Someone suggested a pet & we all go .....NOooooooo.......... lol...

See the birthday girl is not the pet lover kind . I remember she used to have a tortoise & even that, she had trouble taking care of ! In the end one of us has to adopt that poor tortoise for fear of it's life!

We should just get her a pet rock ...lol... ! For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a phenomenon born in the 70s. This guy came up with this brilliant idea of selling rocks as pets to people just like my friend. It became an over nite success, I believe they sold more than a million rocks that way...haha.. Plus is more economical for all of us.....lol....
